Beyond the Cycle – Menstrual Hygiene Day 2026
I was honored to be a guest speaker at Beyond the Cycle, the Cayman Islands' first Menstrual Hygiene Day event, hosted by the NCVO in collaboration with Women's Haven at Hotel Indigo.
The event brought together community leaders, health advocates, and educators to raise awareness about menstrual health and women's wellbeing. During my presentation, I spoke on the importance of menstrual hygiene for teenagers, young women, and women in general, emphasizing education, empowerment, and access to resources.
The evening featured several insightful speakers, including Melesia Adderly, Founder of Women's Haven, who shared her personal journey and introduced her organic feminine care product line. The event was a meaningful step toward breaking stigmas and promoting open conversations about women's health in the Cayman Islands.
